This is hands down the best Superman adaptation. The dynamic between main characters is fantastic, and the storyline makes you actually care about heroes on the screen, which is not something other adaptations are known for. We usually see too much of a cliché hero stuff when it comes to Superman, therefore it's sometimes hard to see that human, more of a "down to earth" form. Not to speak of the whole family and friends actually being relevant to the story.
It's a family-friendly superhero drama that delivers on many levels. It shows Superman as a dad, a loving husband and simply a good friend to his neighbors. But of course there are still laser eyes, super-speed and all other Kryptonian attributes and mind you, it's actually very well-designed. Oh, and the Finale! What an amazing ending to the series. It's truly rare to see shows end on a high note.
The best adaptation, even better than the old Smallville, would watch it again!

Third season in and we have no idea what's going on. There isn't any development whatsoever, the mysteries the third season has given us so far are meaningless. It's been going downhill after season 1(the season that was really promising).
One thing I've liked about LOST, a show which people tend to compare to the "From" series, is that the "riddles of LOST" were fascinating and any new development up until season 4 was somewhat giving answers and/or introducing interesting storylines along the way.
From does neither of those. We still have more episodes, but so far it's been a worse version of season 2. I'm afraid it's likely going to be cancelled. Hopefully they at least have a proper ending.

Honestly, I've never been a fan of "The Bing Bang Theory", but Young Sheldon has been a wonderful journey since the very first episode. This show is more mature and fun in my opinion.
The acting and the way it's written with all the authentic 80s problems have made this show unique and mature. It truly stands out from today's television. I liked the cast and characters development. They grow on you as the plot progresses, and with each season it becomes more and more mature. There are many things one can relate to. Kudos to the actors who made this show truly special.
If you want a kind and family-friendly show with a well-written plot then the "Young Sheldon" will surpass your expectations, just give it a try. They don't make such shows that often anymore, do they?
