This is one of the best things I've watched all year. I love murder mysteries and subtle, dry humour, so it was perfect. If you like your dramas fast paced this might not be for you, as there is a lot of repetition. However, it ticked every box for me and I thought that the acting was superb. Be prepared that the final episode of the series is nearly 90 minutes so it cannot be watched in a hurry,
I am not sure how a sequel would work, but I would love to see a return of Detective Cordelia Cup.
I think I might have to re-watch the series and see how many clues I missed now that I know "who summit"

I finally watched this film (that I was only aware of because of the brilliant Keane theme song - Tear up this town) and so pleased I did. I really hope more people will watch this hidden gem. If you've ever had to say goodbye to a parent, at whatever age, you can relate to this film. I happily admit I cried. The young actor is outstanding, as are the rest of the cast, and I enjoyed the relaxed pacing of the film. The only reason it didn't get 10/10 was because sometimes the audio was too quiet to hear, but overall this is a film which will speak to many people who have endured the loss of a parent.
Very enjoyable film and I thought it was light hearted throughout. I enjoyed the ironic twists and farcical moments. Very well acted with strong British cast. I've never seen the mousetrap play so I couldn't say if there were spoilers but I thought the film fully captured the essence of Agatha Christie television adaptations. Also worth noting that the musician score really helped to capture the drama and suspense of the action, as well as setting the mood for each scene. The bumbling Agatha Christie character was really amusing and very well acted. I will definitely be watching this film again.
