Very well made and well acted. David Oyelowo did an amazing job of portraying Dr. King, especially given that he's not American himself.
An Interesting Take. It looked so fresh for me, The true ambience of horror is superb, which is a very rare occurrence. The dialogues and characters' demeanour are so genuine and authentic, it's unbelievable.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The actors were great, and they played off each other really well. I wouldn't call it a horror so much as a thriller.
The comedic banter between the family members was great and believable in a situation like this. Interesting for me.
Probably the fluffiest Best Picture winner I've ever seen. The only thing gritty about it is Capra's intense hatred of wealth being put out front and center. I liked how the Gable character shows the Colbert character how the other side lives, and it kinda speaks to how those in Hollywood don't really understand our struggles. It's a cute little love story with good acting, but it is hardly worthy of a best picture win. 9/10
