I'm not a manga reader so I don't know if they skipped a good part or something but as an anime-only this was a solid episode that actually felt like "the promised neverland". I was so disappointed about last 2 episodes but this one was good.
The first half had some good back-story and the end of other half was also wonderful. a bit of slow pacing but it was needed to understand the feeling.
I was worried a bit about the quality of animation before this ep but MAPPA improved it a lot in this ep.
as a manga reader, I saw some panels were removed but they weren't main panels so it's alright. pacing was fast but not bad at all.
Overall this ep was the best ep of s4 so far
