Not as bad as the reviews are saying, but still relies on a lot of predictable, 80s horror cliches (even the opening credits and sounds are reminiscent of the TV series STRANGER THINGS)
The only connection to a true story is the fact the screenwriter had a strange girl knock on his door when we was younger - this in turn inspired the story. But this second film sounds very much inspired by the Keddie murders (more so than the first STRANGERS film)
I watched when it first came out on DVD...
Haven't watched since... bought the DVD... still in shrink wrap. This isn't to say I don't like the movie, but I don't know when I'm going to feel ready to 'attack that beast' again
