Mmmm where to start!
I love all the cast, Ewan McGregor, Nicole Kidman have great voices. Indeed Kidman had recorded several tracks. Ewan McGregors voice is well know, Down With Love featured his voice alongside Renée Zellweger singing the title track and the closing credits.
This musical farce, comedy romance is a mixture of popular music and classics brought together within a tragic romance.
Whilst the performances are solid and the singing competent I don't think it really held together. The writing seemed as erratic as the story it was telling. It reminded me of Tommy the rock musical. Chaotic and visually difficult.
It's worth a watch just because it's a classic but that's the only reason.

With the dead of Eva Peron came more power than she ever had alive.
This is the story of her remains and the journey and myths surrounding her corpse.
This sometimes strays into the surreal and occasionally into the bizarre and perverted.
This cat and mouse game played like chess with Eva's body playing the central role although merely a pawn.
Part fact part sci-fi part farce it had me transfixed and so engrossed I binge watched all parts in one evening.
Over dubbed in English but reasonably well done (some are dreadful) all he characters play well and sometimes too well.
Overall a good watch.

This documentary delving into the warped mind of Carl Panzram is fascinating and disturbing.
Learning about this man's early life and what shaped his murderous and demonic journey through his tortured life and those he prayed on.
I have difficulty believing that this scantily education man wrote his "memoirs" and they are not the work of a third party, namely his prison guard. The language used seems far to erudite. There are also references that don't quite add up to my mind.
This is put forward as fact without any true investigative work or fact finding. It would make an interesting piece of work to take this perspective instead of blindly accepting "his" writings as fact.
