I loved the original series, grew up on it and used to watch all the re runs.
Firstly I love that this series is a continuation, they could have just done a reboot, but instead went with the former and I love that, it brings it all together, makes the plot fuller and richer with more history.
Love how much time is spent back at headquarters and how the stories feed and intertwine.
The characters are really fun and interesting and the acting is actually really good, also I know this will probably sound random but I like the music that is chosen throughout, the way the sets look, the guest actors are actually well known and really good.
Definitely cannot wait for the rest of the series!

This should have a higher rating and I feel people just didn't give this a chance and rated it low too soon.
I agree the first episode I wasn't sure, however there are these magical scenes that are beautifully acted, impactful and draws you into the feeling of the moment, the script and the acting is very intelligent and thought provoking, the score is atmospheric and helps to add to the story.
When Louis becomes a vampire the scene is epic and has to be one of my favourite vampire turning moments I've ever watched.
Cannot wait for season 2, really glad this is a TV show and not a movie, more time for me to spend in this world.
