This has always been my favorite version of "A Christmas Carol."
The score is fantastic. It's hilarious. Michael Caine is great. But Rizzo steals the show.
To me it's the best visual retelling of Dickens' story.

Rarely does a show build up over many episodes to an amazing reveal. This one was done spectacularly.
Almost everything is flipped upside down in this season finale. And it's so well done, I saw none of it coming.
This episode, and by extension, this season, is amazingly written and acted. Nearly flawless entertainment.

I don't even know if this is "TV" anymore (I binged this on HBO Max), but this episode is near perfection in entertainment.
The writing, the direction, and the cinematography are all outstanding here. I laughed (OL) and I sighed and I groaned and I cried, and I was mesmerized for the entire hour.
Everything about this episode (and this series, so far) is winning.
