Dang I hate when they give a great show a short season then make you wait a long time before it picks up again. This has everything a good thriller needs. I could tell you all the good stuff but I don't want to ruin it for you.
The writing, acting and direction continues to be overlooked and has not received the recognition it deserves. No show has ever picked at and teased out human emotion in order to develop the kind of characters synonymous with middle America. Rectify is a slow burner, as it peels away its layers it reveals the real premise behind the series. This is something you need to experience as it is a series that incomparable to any other.
