Finally, we have been waiting for so damn long to have a genuinely good blockbuster film. I don't even get how with this level of naivety and repeated trops you can do such a good film. I don't get how he made those cartoon like graphics and weird actors work. I dont get how those separate parts, frames and goofy atmosphere work together, but the fact is, it works. Best F4 film, i would dare to say better than Avengers
P. S. the director did Wanda/Vision and the lore/fantastic part(i suppose that studio did and insisted on) was disgusting, while sitcom part was genius, the mix was wild. Well, i guess that it is a proof that the guy is good, like really good.
I liked 1.5 hours of this film: i liked acting in certain scenes, certain scenes, characters, atmosphere, plot, more or less. I think that loud understatement in dialogues were utilized to film benefit, and when i was already counting on finishing FIRST good film this year, the cinema left the good road and joined, don't know why, but i wanna say Mulholland Drive(dislike this film, as well as Lynch) road. Dialogue pretend to be emotional, but i think build up is not good enough, phrases are flat and surreal(in a bad way), it just looks like imitation, not how anything would happen IRL, though i think, things like that may happen, but not in exact same way. The things they talk about, how they talk, why the talk about it about and how they feel it is just feels and look like a bad scenario, picture turns out to be blurry in all senses. From level of good film 6/10 to level of really bad film 3/10. I had some hope, but really, too many bad minutes in this film(as the definitive product) to even call this OK.
I really don't get it, what's the point of making those kind of original films, where nothing is straight and fulfilled in narration, half ready scenario, almost absence of dialogues(every phrase thate there is in the film basically child level of putting the plot for viewer) but at the same time you buy actors, do filming(some frames were real good), make a slow pace atmosphere, screamers(that are just like random screamers) that have no sense, and as film is empty and not any impressive useless and seems like nothing gonna come out of it, but here it is: attention, hight ratings, so on. But in fact, it is just another one casual boring film, for audience with no taste, no standards that never delivers at anything. P. S. People criticizing films like Electric State, but at the same time their own aesthetic taste and perception of films is not any higher than that. Good lord, are we truly living in matrix?
