Damn.. what is there to say! This episode was by a long shot.. the undisputed best episode of the show thus far!

I was in a xhokehold for most of the episode, having just read the chapter about The Black Spot in the book! Lets just say i was not disapointed! How the tension turns to panic as you realize whats about to happen! The camera work was incredible and the whole scene executed to perfection!

The scene with Rich and Marge was incredibly powerfull and I was genuently surprised how the tears started to push through! This show is not affraid to go that far!

Bill was bloody amazing and terrorfying as Pennywise/IT! One of his scariest moments in this episode no doubt! He also did well in the flashback as the ACTUAL Pennywise as we learn why IT to a liking into his persona!

This is one of those episodes that I kind of have a soft spot for! Not much happens plotwise except for a few scenes, however the episode is carried by charming funny moments and just how great these characters have with each other!

As a ghostbusters fan and someone who grew up watching the first two movies, that scene always brings a smile to my face, and fun seeing Finn Wolfhard as a ghostbuster!

More of Max is also a plus in my book!

Despite all the fun lighthearted moments the episode never fails to remind you of the looming unkown threat!

The second season kicks off as it should, leaving you invested and curious to see where the season is going from here, as it sets up a new mystery and leaving many things unanswrred!

After the end of season one, we knew things might not be as okay as we thought and this episode delivers on that promise as a new unknown threat appears, with Will in the middle!

The new characters of Bob and Max are also great additions, and some of my favorite this season!
