Unwatchable. How many times does someone have to say "you know what I'm saying?". Lazy writing. Spike Lee should be ashamed to be attached to this cringeworthy movie. Is this supposed to be a satire of young poor black boys?

Two stars for acting. Zero stars for everything else. This is billed as a comedy. It's not even a dark comedy. There is absolutely no comedy involved. None. One of the most depressing movies I've ever seen. Truly.

Well worth watching. So wait, this movie shows how (some?) people who sign up for the military are ultimately unfeeling, screwed up, machismo laden, murderous husks of human beings? This is not new information. This movie does a great job of showing how sick these people actually are and how the military closes ranks when things go awry. Great acting all around.
