Before I went to see the new John Wick movie, I already knew that it wouldn't heavily feature John Wick himself. That was something I prepared myself for, and honestly, I think managing those expectations helped me enjoy the film more. I'm a big fan of the original John Wick movies - the intense action, the dark aesthetic, and of course, Keanu Reeves' iconic portrayal of the character. So knowing that this film would be a bit different, I went in with an open mind, curious to see what the new characters and storyline had to offer.
To my surprise, I actually had a good time. While the movie didn't blow me away in terms of originality or emotional depth, it was definitely entertaining. It had the kind of energy that keeps you watching without checking the time, and that says a lot. The pacing was decent, and the action scenes - which are a core element of anything tied to the John Wick universe - were handled well. There's something about the choreography in these movies that always feels sharp and stylized, and while this film didn't quite reach the iconic level of earlier John Wick entries, it still held its ground.
One thing I really missed, though, was the signature John Wick soundtrack theme. That deep, gritty, emotional music that plays during key scenes in the original movies has always been something I loved. It helped set the tone, added emotion, and gave the series its own unique identity. So the absence of that theme in this new installment really stood out to me. It felt like something important was missing, and I was honestly a little sad about that 😭. Music can elevate a scene, and while the new score wasn't bad, it just didn't carry the same weight.
Now, let's talk about the new lead - Ana de Armas. I think she did a great job, especially when it came to her performance in both the acting and stunt departments. She brought a believable presence to the screen. You could tell she put in a lot of effort to make the action scenes feel authentic. Her movement was clean, confident, and stylish - all important qualities when trying to live up to the action-packed reputation of the John Wick series. She didn't try to copy Keanu Reeves' style but rather brought her own flavor to the action, which I appreciated. She's clearly capable of carrying intense physical roles, and this film was a good showcase of that.
The story itself wasn't particularly groundbreaking. It followed familiar beats and had a few moments where things felt a bit predictable. But that didn't ruin the experience for me. Sometimes, a movie doesn't need to revolutionize cinema to be enjoyable - it just needs to deliver on what it promises: some solid action, interesting characters, and an engaging enough story to keep you along for the ride. This film managed to do that.
If you're someone who goes into this expecting another full-on John Wick adventure, you might be disappointed. But if you go in knowing that it's more of a spin-off or expansion of the universe with a different lead and tone, I think you'll find it pretty enjoyable. It's not a masterpiece, and it's not trying to be. But it's a fun watch, and sometimes that's all you really need from a movie.
So if you're a fan of the John Wick universe or just want to see some slick action with a fresh lead, I say go ahead and watch it 😉. It's worth your time - just don't expect to hear that iconic music or see Keanu Reeves this time around.

At first I lost hope with this season until I saw this episode and I have been laughing the whole episode and it's my favorite one so far on this season!.
Poor execution with mixing horror and dark comedy. The story had potential but it failed.
This is the most heartwarming episode i have ever seen in a long time. It makes think about life throughout the episode. It was a very special thing to watch. Nathan spent his time helping people. He is a very kind person and lovely. I can't believe that this is the end of my favorite and unique show...
Trust me, if I write a review about it then I'm sure there is not enough words to describe how good is it!. The events goes so fast and there is no fillers at all, the character development is pretty good, the soundtracks are so awesome, the fighting is magnificent and I always have fun watching it, the story itself is so amazing and I totally loved it... basically this is one of the best anime shows and it's my favorite of all time. Give it a shot and I promise you that you won't regret it!.
This movie is so underrated, and needs more appreciation from the people. So amazing, nicely done with aspect of Thriller!, I loved the movie.
I just want to say that the show needs more appreciation and needs to be ranked on the best tv shows list worth a shot and believe me, you won't regret it!
The movie it's so funny and I really enjoyed it, from the beginning to the end. The chemistry between Bruce Wills and Tracy Morgan is amazing, and there is so many jokes in the movie and I had a really big laughs watching it. Do yourself a favor and just watch it ;)
I just wanna say that the show is back again with it's lovely, crazy atmosphere and the Episode was great from my perspective. I'm looking forward to watch the next episode...
I just don't find this deserve your time. Yes there is a big laughs but not a lot, just few. Then the plot repeats its self again and again in the movie.
There are no words to describe how amazing is this episode. I never laughed so hard as I laughed in this episode it's super funny!!!
A lot of things happend in this episode. the reason why I love this show because the events of the show runs fast, unlike some other TV shows that take things slowly. I don't want to spoil anything for you but what do you waiting for? Go and watch the episode!!
It's a good start for the second season and the episode was great and I really enjoyed it and I even had a big laughs, do not miss it!. It's true there is 8 episodes per season but I really loved the show because of it's magic!!
