At first I was thinking it was gonna be like some of the other BBL stuff I've been seeing around where we see a botched surgery or the aftermath of a surgery. It's not that. But without giving too much away it's more about a woman's journey who goes to get a BBL at an underground Clinic. It was a good movie for sure and I can see that they were trying to put messages in there as well. Good choice with actors. Hearing the main character's story made me think about how when women are out here getting this body work done it's not just to look good but maybe something that they went through as a kid. Like bullying . Or not being happy about how they look. So I like the fact that it wasn't just a typical scary movie but some parts really make you think.
I was able to follow the story from beginning to end . Even found myself yelling at the tv which tells me I was into it. The movie did go really fast, and the running time is shorter than most movies, but still a good bang for your buck . Entertaining. Also the production team did a good job the shots were very nice . Some actors were stronger than others, but they all came together well. April Parker Jones is a beast by the way have to give her flowers. I was able to see a lot of her range , and I love her work, but this one you got to see more of her acting . The actress who plays Aunt Sherry did a really good job as well. Caught off guard by the ending, but I loved it!
I don't have a mental illness, but I know many who do that I have previously judged. Bricked truly have me a different perspective and allowed me to consider the other party, their reasoning and their actions. Great work. Really made me want to self evaluate.
