Dhanak is one of the best Indian movies I've seen yet. Pari and Chotu are so innocent, their spontaneousness that is typical of their age and their crazy quest to find SRK is so heartwarming. I laughed so much at some moments, it just reminded me of my own childhood, where the craziest things that you can think of can come true.
I rarely give a ten, but it deserves it. Totally.
This movie has a great idea. It has a powerful meaning to it. Receiving a new heart as a 40 year old that used to belong to a 20 year old who died prematurely, and doing all the things the donor wanted to and couldn't achieve before what would have been her 21st birthday is honourable. I loved the idea of it, that's why I watched.
But this movie was such a drag. I almost fell asleep at several points. I was quite disappointed because it was really badly carried out.
Madhuri, why did you do this?
