One of my all-time favorite animated comedy films. So unexpectedly funny, especially with the anachronisms and fourth wall breaks. It's such a hilarious and absurd storyline. Does not take itself seriously at all, which makes it that much more memorable and endearing. It's so irreverent, which really makes it stand out from other children's animated comedies. So much so that it really holds up nearly 25 years later and is quite enjoyable to watch as an adult. Every character has something about them that just makes them unforgettable. You'd expect the protagonist to be cool, calm, and collected, but he's just as petty as the villain. Their attempts to foil each other make for great entertainment!
I've only seen a few episodes of this show here and there, but I can honestly say this is one of my all-time favorites. It's funny, witty, and best of all, just absurd. I particularly appreciate the character of Arthur who always has something completely out of pocket to say. It starts off a bit awkward in the first few episodes - as most new TV shows do - but eventually the actors get comfortable with each other and really commit to their characters. Most of all, I appreciate that the characters, despite stepping on each others' toes every once in a while, truly care for each other. Overall, very funny and enjoyable!
