Sadly this was not what id hoped for but i think i was too trusting . Wont go into too many specific but will say the story has been chopped and changed. Character arcs have been altered and the story moved far far too quickly. In short the book blows this adaptation away. It has good actors wasted by a flimsy script and bad editing. Too many flashy visuals on street names and location names and little more than sawdust within them. Not sure exactly how much SK was actually involved in the development but i kinda get the feeling he just wanted paid for this one and didnt actually get too deeply involved as its a poor rendering of a good SK story. I suspect also too many money men from the studio involved in creative choices when they've got sod all buisness having any say in that side of things. Buy the book ; buy the audio book ; see the original movie - if you like SK your not gona enjoy this poor re-hash.
