A well-heeled gangster (Alex Nicol) is desperate to pay back an old army buddy (Don Keefer) who did him a favor, but also has something on him; an appeal to the latter's wife (Nita Talbot) leads to trouble.
An excellent story with a perfect ending unfortunately has a cutesy second twist that undermines the entire point of the story. Just awful.
