  • A Masterpiece, One of the Greatest Movies Ever Made

The Godfather had many in awe during its prime, and it still does today. One of the greatest organized crime films ever created, let alone one of the greatest movies ever created, it shows that anything goes as a mobster in the Itlian mafia. Al Pacino became world famous for his role as Micheal Corleon, son of Don Vito Corleon (Marlon Brando), as he prepares to take the family business from his father. As an Italian myself, I can greatly appreciate what this film is trying to do... show what life is really like as a mobster, and what they practically do. Forget the mobster movie flops, or the Sopranos, this movie shows it all. And to follow it up with an even greater sequel is incredible. It's a masterpiece, a must-see by far.

  • Original Plot with Funny Stuff

I don't think I've yet seen a movie in my whole lifetime about a high school kid creating his own college, just to impress his parents. Nowadays, movies are either remakes or sequels, or plots that have been used in many different films. This one has an original story line and to follow it up by making it a comedy films only lightens the deal. With this well thought out story and with laughs mixed in, this is a good movie. Now I've seen better, but upon going into the theater I was thinking another drug/beer/frat party with some sexual innuendo tossed in (aka an "American Pie" flick) but I was surprised. To sum it up, I enjoyed the film and the next time your shuffling through the paper for movies, look for show times to "Accepted". If you want to laugh out loud, that is.

  • The First of the Smith Dynasty

Okay, on first seeing this movie I thought it would be another first-time director cheap comedy film. I came out of the theater cracking up. The clever lines and random conversations Dante and Randall have through out the film are hilarious, and the weird customers coming in and out of the store were classic, I was always waiting to see what one of them would do or say. What even made the lines funnier were that the characters dropped the f bomb every sentence. But what really made this movie something is that it was all Kevin Smith. Kevin Smith wrote, directed, and even starred in the film... all being his first time! Directing is NOT easy folks, Smith makes it look easy with this film... and the fact that he could make about 5 more sequels based on this film are amazing. If your down in the dumps and looking for a movie that makes you laugh... I highly recommend this film.
