Take out the flamboyant "Captain" Jack Sparrow and lovely Keira Knightely and you have a visually disgusting movie left. Half of it has been shot in the dark with gruesome creatures trying to scare your wits and failing to do so. The first movie had a lively and adventurous spirit about it, which the makers have failed to recapture in this sequel. Let us hope that Pirates III revives the glory of Pirates I. Davy Jones was awful to look at and hard to hear. No match to Barbossa who was simply awesome. The movie starts at a snail's pace, continues at tortoise's speed and every one is really thankful when it finally ends.
A light family entertainer which contains many good laughs. The real star of Chup Chup Ke is Rajpal Yadav. He makes one choke with laughter. Surprisingly full mileage is not taken out of the roles of Paresh Rawal and Om Puri. Kareena looks stunning , ravishing and lot of ...ings and her chemistry with Shahid works for the movie. Now a few bad points. Shahid carries his role single dimensionally. Chup Chup Ke is a movie in which many people are surplus to the requirement. Neha Dhupia is wasted and so are Anupam Kher, Sushma Reddy, Om Puri and Paresh Rawal. Asrani and Shakti Kapoor are just a shadows of their former selves. Sunil Shetty looks tired and type casted. But the biggest let down is casting of Om Puri as a Gujju. Sushma Reddy looks unpalatable sans make up.
I pity the persons who invested time and money in such cock and bull movie. A four year old could have written a better story. A group of special agents including four or five gals searches a jungle for a killing machine called skeleton man. The blood and gore carnage the skeleton man spreads would make Freddy and Jason look like saints. The end was even more hilarious. After attacking a chemical plant the spooky skeleton gets knocked off by high voltage shock. The audience received a bigger shock when in true tradition of a typical horror flick the skeleton walks out of the back door between the credits. The title should have been the rubbish man.
