This version of the Catherine the Great story is mostly good for the pop-culture fans
. It is not historically accurate and it is full of propaganda. The best thing to realize is that as the opening credits mention, this is "an occasionally true story". If anyone expects this to be a historically accurate dramatization, you will be sorely disappointed. I gave this series a rating of 5 simply because it was entertaining at times.
