I was a bit doubtful going to the movie, due to doubts about rock and DC and how critical went after the movie but boy, this is what superhero movies should be about, action filled with good balance between story and humour. Rock was born to play this role and first time ever he doesn't look like he's been forced into the role. Pierce Brosnan was awesome and I'm glad I didn't listen to the critics. Don't listen to critics and enjoy the movie. Afterall they loved she hulk and it's season finale, which was as bad as GoT for me as far as season ending and character assassinations go. And enjoy the end credits, really excited for upcoming DC slate now.
Of all the superhero origins shown on small screen or big screen, this is the worst way to become one.. it was lame and mediocre episode and no struggle or story.
I can't believe how this movie went. Being the last one from the original trinity, this movie was supposed to take MCU in a new direction after introduction of new characters in last few films. However, what I saw was the weakest Thor movie to date with all God's turned into comedians. If not for Bale, would be a 1 star review.
