This will be a constantly changing list as I watch more movies. But as of right now, these are my favorite movies for each year starting with 2010 and working back to 1970

I'm going to keep a running list of the movies coming out this year (2011) as I see them and how I rank them from best to worst.

He's one of the funniest directors alive today with exceptional skill in writing realistic dialogue. Here's how I rank his films with the exception of Jersey Girl because it is the only one I haven't seen.

Denzel Washington is an incredible actor, but virtually every movie poster he appears on he has that same exact stare.

Harrison Ford and Sean Young in Blade Runner (1982)

Easily one of the most talented directors working today. All of his films are incredibly different, each one of them a masterpiece. This man could take the dullest situation imaginable and make it incredibly enthralling through the use of his panoramic visual style that shines so consistently well. I love all five of his films but this is how I rank them.

Will Ferrell's butt buddy. His films aren't good for much more than a cheap laugh but hey, at least they actually make you laugh.

John C. Reilly and Will Ferrell in Step Brothers (2008)

He's one of the most skilled directors of this generation. The only film not on this list is his first film, Following, which I have yet to see.
