2012 was a great year for movies, with five films ultimately making my top grade (10/10), and another five films making just under that (9/10). The following is my top 10 films of the year.

My favorites of all the 2011 releases that I've had a chance to see. Unfortunately, about half the list had a very limited theatrical release, but are now available on DVD and Blu Ray. I reserve the right to update it as I see more films released during the year that may have previously been unavailable.
