This episode delivers the delightfully weird charm that made Season 1 so irresistible. Every line feels catered to it's audience, who I think loves the self-aware humor and eccentric character dynamics. The episode really leans into its own quirks without apology, and it's clear the writers trust their audience to embrace the madness.
I very much enjoyed the "found footage" concept. The pacing is brisk and the mystery deepens with more cheeky twists. Season 4 has great tonal balance, and it overall feels better than the previous one. Only Murders here is at its most confident, weird, and wonderful. I would totally listen to this episode as a podcast!

After a pretty great first season, sadly the longer season two goes on the more tedious it becomes. There's very little tension in these last few episodes and I don't see how it can be salvaged with only two more left. It's a big letdown because this can be a truly great show and I love Rebecca Ferguson. Why is it so difficult for writers to make good follow up seasons? I don't understand it.
I've dropped my rating down to 7 while we wait for the finale but at this rate it probably deserves even less than that for how much the quality has dropped.
Might decide to get the books and finish the story that way.

Keen to see where they are going with this story. Unlike some other reviewers who complain about the slow start, I did not expect episode one to start off with a bang. It was full of intrigue and mystery - what happened? Why? When?
Theres a lot of world building still left to do.
Absolutely love the musical score by Alti Ovarsson - it's part of what I love so much about this series. Rebecca Ferguson is great in the role, and this episode is very much focused on Juliette only.
I would like to binge the whole thing instead of waiting week to week, so I'm probably going to hold off until all the episodes are out.
