The book that started "It all" 1932..
Brave New World, this film adaptation is one of the fearly futuristic films of its day! Very surprising no reviews here, considering this used to be mandatory viewing for intro to cinema courses.
Huxley's imaginings on screen focuses on the folly of man vs.man. The images back then were futuristic for the then naive viewership, however the story carries weight to this century!
Sad to learn nothing new under the sun...man still looses his humanity during times of social strife... Here we are 25 years in to the new 21st Century, yet time has proven the human response remains the same, brutal.
Take a gander at how the past ( 20th century) inferred what could happen if world events took a turn, has much changed as we walk into the 21st Century?
Or are we silly in thinking a series like "The Walking Dead" seems fantasy? Not the zombie nonsense, but the survival tactics and lack of humanity?
Has much changed in our condition?
Take a look... See how 1967 was envisioned in 1932!
Talk about post- apocalyptic... Good thing the film has yet to be prophetic, or is it yet to come?
Check the film out!

Don't waste your time watching. This is a canned, empty halled tomato. Seems the 'stand up' did not wish to trill through the crappiest comedy clubs to pay her dues and refine her jokes. This is painful to watch, as IF we were in s crummy comedy club in Wisconsin.
She has plenty of venues ti refine her materail, we know she has the talent, but this is clunky, and unfunny.
She must have friends in high places to get this act green lit for HULU.
Not something to visit or re-visit or even to have on to enjoy in the background. It seemed women-directed humor, not ready for family or a fun-night to sit and laugh... Save your money and watch someone who is willing to pay their dues trekking the USA comedy clubs .. This is lazy sophomore college stuff.

Well, am late to the viewing party, so I am unaware of the subliminal messages in the story, as some more astute reviewers have suggested. It's s good flick for the most part, no deep explanations or messages that I could see. Plot holes abound, just WHAT would the hands across actually do once 'out', and the twist at the end...
Seemed like an add-on. Unnecessary at best, but perhaps it is to be thought provoking. But would suggest no deep thinking, here.
Sit back and enjoy the fun... But the question remains... WHY?
If Mr. Peele left that tagged ending alone, we would not have cared or questioned. So it's still a fun ride, as long as one keeps expectations level and not try to read much into the story or the whole premise falls flat. Acting was great from everyone, all put up a good fight, hope to see the cast in more!
Good action, good pacing...
