Good story. It could have been a good movie. Everything about Lily was wrong. Film is VISUAL and the story is told by more than just dialogue--costuming does so much to drive the story. Look how colour, fabrics and design is used just in romances. Couple who aren't connecting have warring clothes, but when a couple is starting to come together we see some complimentary colours and fabrics in the clothes, and when the storytelling is of a couple who are in sync and hot together, so are the clothes. So you can imagine when I was at the theatre and watching Lily, I was aghast. Who the hell did they hire to do that costume train wreck??? Thats just one thing that was so wrong with Lily. Don't get me even started on the dialogue when I was asking, who the hell would write that??
Now we know!! Blake needs to apologize for ruining the movie during and after. Blake Ruins Movies!!

Took me a long time to finally watch this film as I've had it saves in my Prime folder since it was first added. From what I understand, the film doesn't address all the sad traumatic events of this family and some have criticized the film makers for this. For me, it's okay. Enough events were covered to tell the story of a family that had been though the thick of it, and to be impressed by the surviving brother for his ability to simply survive and thrive. I love the relationship among the brothers and wish that all siblings could love each other like that. Kudos to all the actors. The roles didn't require the constant emotional and ouvert dramatic performances as we see in other dramas, however, every actor did a startling impressive performance and brought you into their character's story. A special shout out for Zac Effron...wow!!! I believed the character. I loved his character as a brother and wish everybody could have a brother, Kevin. Good story, nicely told. I'm satisfied. But sad 😔
I remember watching the first season and thought "Wow". Innovative storytelling. Someone finally answered the question why is it that superhumans are generally heros or want to help humankind. The characters and storyline were interesting. What happened? I agree with several commenters who pointes out problems with seasons 2 ans 3, however, that ia normal. Not everyone will appreciate the story runner's efforts. Its okay for people to disagree about a story, it happens with the best of written tales. This is why we have book clubs and formats like IMDB so we can discuss these things. But this is different. This isnt just a matter of a difference of art appreciation. This is disgusting. Season 4 is simply downright horrible!!!! Seems like a group of sickos were hired, put in a room and told to try and outdo each other, and then some network thought that this would sell as imagination and story telling. It's NOT!! It's lousy and simply pathetic. Unwatchable! I tried to give it a chance thinking the stupid, senseless violence would be enough and we would get to a story. I even thought that i could just fast forward through the gross violent stupidity, but there's so much, just doesn't stop. I'm done.
It's so bad that I will not finish the season and in fact, Prime is now on my streaming chopping Block.
