I love the movies, but just can not stand the politics that comes out of Hollywood. That's why I refer to it as Leftywood. The junk that comes out of Leftywood now days, is enough to make you want to carry an airsick bag with you to the movies.
Don't get me wrong, every now and then a good one comes along. But that number is shrinking with every passing year. Just look at all the remakes. Maybe Leftywood needs some new writers.
And for god's sake, Can we find a male lead that's over 5'8. The women are taller than the men now. What happen to all the real men in Leftywood? Now more than ever we need John Wayne, Gary Coopers, Robert Mitchum, James Stewart, Gregory Peck, Gary Grant, Lee Marvin and Kirk Douglas just to name a few.
And are you tired of how Leftywood makes the government look so bad in the movies? They do the same thing with Americans. Look at Dances with Wolves. All thru the movie white man bad, government bad, army bad. Everyone is bad but the Indians. That movie was such a joke.
Well, all we can do is hope for better movies. And please better actors.

  • Not a bad move

This arty Canadian drama centers on a young Vietnamese woman who marries a petty thief she does not love so she can emigrate to Canada. The rest of her family moves there too, but none of them find a particularly happy life, though Lucky, Lulu's husband, would do anything to insure his wife's happiness, even if it is self-destructive.
