I watched this after noting the rating and reviews on here and wonder if I missed something. I found the movie to be sorely lacking in entertainment value. It wasn't funny or engaging at all, the script and pacing were so dull, and it failed to build into any sort of compelling story like a good movie does. I was just aching to turn it off, but I held on hoping it would somehow come around. I don't even understand the little subplot with the car seat and the hidden thug's money. To me it didn't seem to tie in whatsoever with the main storyline about the elder Indian woman trying to quell a family curse. I don't know, I may have missed the connection, but it seemed to make the film even more laborious to get through. If anything the scenery is nice, but I don't recommend this movie, sorry to say - try Smoke Signals or something else.
