A very decent insight into Commendatore Ferrary life from the aftermath of WWII until his consolidation of the Ferrari brand into the solid luxury/sports car with an investment qualification it is today.
Some will give the (IMHO) very well directed, with a top tier cast and great camera work a low rating because the first half, where the script necessarily lays down the historical basis so the viewer can understand the situations presented, but that's only ignorance lamenting itself.
It's not an agile film but I highly recommend it as a very finely directed, acted and assembled film that, if you have the slightest interest in the automovile industry, please watch it. Even so, if you don't is a great tale of human lives that lived during the hard times of the half of the XX Century in places less fortunate than North America.

1. I must introduce myself as a) Mexican, b) Familiar with the (alleged) Pátzcuaro area, and c) Cultured.
2. As a passionate photographer I have roamed the Pátzcuaro riviera extensively and all you will see, if you decide to waste your time in this contraption is completely fake. Better watch Disney's "Coco".
I find extremely cheap from the producer/s to make believe what they're seeing is the Pátzcuaro lake. Most scenes were filmed on some other Mexican areas, like Lake Zirahuén (still clean) and even the Mayan riviera where some (most, mainly?) underwater scenes were produced; what the heck they even had to go to the tiny lake Camecuaro to find the setting to (at least) one scene.
Never mind, let's not delve on production, I understand this is a lo-bud film and can accommodate that; what is offensive is cinematography as a whole.
Mexico has been the cradle of great actors, directors and produders. Names like Derbez, Cuarón and Del Toro come to mind. Many more surely are. The director(s), producer(s), photographers and editor(s) are not.
{profanity} This wouldn't even be available to watch on Prime Video if it were not by the backing of the powerful and influential "Organización Ramírez" who control most of the Mexican movie theaters.
If you decide to waste nearly two hours watching this twisted perversion (not based in any local legend, like "La llorona", BTW) you might, in any case, decide to visit Pátzcuaro and explore the area, it's beautiful, not that the film does any justice to it.
My summary: Direction: 2.
Acting: 5 to 1.
Photography: 5 to 2.
Edition: 3.
Plot/Argument: 0.
Corollary: If I were to average ratings (maybe) the film would merit a 3, 2.5 at best, but seeing that the previous ratings are issued by "compadres" of the "interest parties" I´m compelled to balance the biased, baiting rating.
