I watched the first two episodes & wow ! This is terrible.
I loved King of queens so I was expecting so much more.
Having watched 'The Crew' which was not much to rave about, you can imagine how surprised I was to see that this show was even worse !
The characters are very weak, the English boyfriend was so unreal, he may as well been from another planet.
I have no idea how any person could give this a 10 rating & the fact that many say that season two bombed after a great first season is incomprehensible !
Admittedly, I did only watch the first two episodes so if it got a lot better from episode three, I apologise but I doubt that is the case, it's just a terrible show that somehow managed to last for 48 episodes.
Even the Friends spin off, 'Joey' was better than this.

The Newsroom is a masterclass in intelligent, articulate storytelling that seeks to both entertain and educate. At its core, the series is a celebration of journalism's power to bring truth to the forefront, challenging viewers to think critically about the world around them. The characters-sharp, determined, and deeply human-embody the relentless pursuit of truth, even in the face of immense pressure and personal sacrifice.
What makes The Newsroom truly special is its balance. It delivers a feel-good experience without shying away from hard-hitting topics, lacing even the most serious moments with humour and warmth. The romantic subplots are heartfelt and layered, adding depth to the already vibrant character dynamics.
Above all, this is a story about determination-never giving up, even when the odds are stacked against you. It's a reminder that integrity and persistence can make a difference, both in the newsroom and beyond. Thought-provoking, uplifting, and endlessly engaging, The Newsroom is a must-watch for anyone who values truth and humanity.
