Predictable but potentially good murder mystery is ruined by the wooden acting of Ashley Judd. She's easy to look at but lacking in any natural talent.
The script doesn't help her much either. The story is a simple mystery but could have been told in a more subtle way. It's almost as bad as one of those Hallmark mystery movies.
Tommy Lee Jones brings some credibility to this film.

I didn't know about the GR5 hiking trail before watching this series. Looks like a very beautiful area to traverse. Bucket list after WWIII and economic recovery. Maybe in 2044.
The TV series....possibly the most boring show I have seen all year. Also the most confusing and completely unbelievable plot.
I'm more likely to believe that Spider-Man is real than the ridiculous premise of this show. And the characters...ugh...so unlikable. Who writes this stuff?
I give one star for epic scenery, one star for the actors speaking multiple languages, and one star for the hot chick with a nice smile. 3 Stars.

I enjoyed the show very much. I hope they make a second season. The lead actor does a great job of creating.a believable although very depressed main character.
The dialogue is fairly snappy and keeps things moving along.
My only complaint is that the main character tends to wallow a bit-in self-pity,
But when the science-fiction aspect of the show kicks in some of the things that happen earlier in the season, make more sense.
Worth watching.
