I enjoyed the show very much. I hope they make a second season. The lead actor does a great job of creating.a believable although very depressed main character.
The dialogue is fairly snappy and keeps things moving along.
My only complaint is that the main character tends to wallow a bit-in self-pity,
But when the science-fiction aspect of the show kicks in some of the things that happen earlier in the season, make more sense.
Worth watching.

I very much enjoyed the first five seasons of offspring. Most of the episodes have an excellent blend of comedy and drama. There's just enough of each to keep things moving.
There are a few episodes that get a little heavy on the drama, and they tend to drag. There are a few storylines that get strung out longer than they should. But overall it's very well written, and paced.
ALl the actors do an excellent job creating mostly believable and entertaining characters. Yes it's a little over the top sometimes but that's what a show like this is about. It's a quirky family with a lot of weird things happening all the time.
There seems to have been a series hiatus for a year after this fifth season. And then they made two shorter seasons-six and seven. These two seasons are not as well written as the first five, and there is way too much drama and not much comedy.
I highly recommend you watch it at least for the first five seasons. You could probably skip the last two seasons as they do not add anything valuable to the series.

I very much enjoyed the first John Wick film. The sequel wasn't terrible. The third film in the series was less good than the sequel, but still not awful.
This fourth film in the series has few redeeming qualities and adds nothing to the story arc.
It's literally just one fight scene after another punctuated by a few dreadfully long and meaningless scenes with the worst dialogue since silent films had no dialogue.
I presume that this is made for people who play video games and just like constant, shooting and explosions with no actual story.
1 Star for me stunt people.
1 Star for the cinematography.
1 Star for nostalgia.
3 Stars is generous.
