Generally I love the way French film makers look at love and romance. This movie proves that romantic fare does not have to drip with sugar, but can be light-hearted and fun. It also shows that full-on action is no requirement for setting the mood. The "kissing-chase" must be one of the most unconventional romantic scenes that I have seen in a movie, only rivaled by the "kissing-instructions" in Amelie. The movie has quite a few unexpected gem-moments, for example the bathroom scene in the nightclub, where the lead actress is caught between to would-be model types preening in front of the mirror. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie!
