I went in with fairly low expectations honestly- but I came away very impressed with the movie and with the emotional response it got from me. The concept regarding "the test" was an interesting ethical question and set the movie up in a unique way. The way that was followed up with the discussion on Laura's own "baggage" and how life is still hard even with a "soul mate" really made some thought provoking moments and overall message.

The chemistry was incredible between the two of them - so well acted and written. The character development was deep and done in such a subtle way. There were some very powerful sequences - I loved the funeral of Laura's dad - that was set up so well and the longing and pain and conflict was palpable.

Life is choices- and they kept making choices that were complex and not always "right ". Life is messy and love is messy and humans are messy and she didn't always treat him well ( ever ?) and it was unfair to many many other people and he continued to let himself me walked on and from the outside of that sort of situation is seems clear and dry BUT we all know we don't live in the black and white - we live in the grey and that's what makes this relatable - not necessarily having an affair but with so many emotionally complex situations in every relationship in our life.

With the watch and I will be striving to watch more with both of them in it.

The movie quality itself wasn't great - Lily James was quality( as usual) , music selection and casting were good, dialogue left something to be desired and it was not a cinematic masterpiece...

That being said- the movie kept you in, the quality was reasonable and it was a vessel to carry a story that in this day and age is hugely important and that not enough people know about( myself included before watching this)

I had heard the name and had some vague idea of a sexual harassment case but am ashamed to say I never thought or cared much about it. As a woman in a very male dominated field - this movie was inspiring and touching and relatable. This is something I want the next generation to see and understand and start to understand the importance of speaking up and lifting other women. So many important issues addressed from harassment to empowerment, racism, inclusion on and on.

I loved it and left wanting to do better and be more, especially for other women and remember that you don't need to take crap fell anyone - no matter what field you are in.

Totally worth your time.

I had avoided this thinking it was way overly hyped and was going to be stupid. I am a teacher and when I went back to school almost every single kid was talking about this movie. I gave in and turned it on with my little guy this weekend.

Let me tell you - absolutely blown away. The animation , the storyline , the message , the music , the character development on and on and on - what an absolutely great movie.

The songs are very good and instantly catchy work fantastic lyrics - what great singing and voice acting by all the guys and women in this. I am a fan - true fan of both "bands".

The overall message was fantastic- I mean really fantastic. On a surface level it's entertaining but on a deeper level it's powerful and important and applicable to all of us.

Really cannot compliment this enough. Totally worth your time for a variety of ages.
