Some movies just don't make it. This movie had a message to deliver but the delivery was just too sophomoric. In retrospect, if you forget the ridiculousness of the infighting between the residents of the condo building, the message regarding Alzheimer's was a good one that made a lot more points than usual movies about dementia and Alzheimer's.
However the way the Alzheimer's message was delivered was more suitable for teenagers, and in that respect the simplicity of the Alzheimer's message and its presentation is perhaps something young people would benefit from. Unfortunately the rest of the storyline failed. It wasn't engaging.

The quality of this movie left so much to be desired starting with a poor script and lack of cohesiveness and chemistry. Some of the wardrobe was lacking and makeup in some cases was the worst I've ever seen, especially for one character (who was also the victim of the poor wardrobe choices).
The scenery was phenomenal but that's because actual historical sites in Europe were used. That's the only reason I stayed with this movie until the end, having personally visited these sites in the past. Still, I could just as easily (and should have) looked at my own videos and photos for the memory factor.
Catherine Disher was the saving grace.
