Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula. My Take.
There have been mixed reviews about Peninsula, but I personally liked it. I'll admit, it's more of an action movie than a zombie horror, yet it's still a thrilling experience that deserves to be seen on a big screen.
The zombie fight arena was a fresh concept, and I loved how the survivors had built their own world and lifestyle amidst the chaos. The movie's world-building felt unique and imaginative.
The final dialogue really stayed with me - "It wasn't a bad world either." That line perfectly summed up the film's tone. Many viewers probably expected something similar to Train to Busan, but I'm glad the creators took a different direction instead of repeating the same formula. For me, that worked well.
For those expecting a pure horror or gore-filled zombie flick, this might not be it. Peninsula is more of an emotional action drama.

Engrossed in her day-to-day social and family life, one fine day, that long-gone memory of a special friend embraces Nidhi's mind as her friends plan a reunion of their college friends settled in the US
.
This begins the journey of a sensible mind provoked by a mere thought of having a chance to meet her lost/incomplete love after decades. Initially hesitant, Nidhi - Played by Nisha Prem, finds that courage to finally go and meet her long-lost love with all the support from her well-wisher friends, Maya and Anu!
Debutant Director and story writer, Julie Antony not only succeeds to hold the viewer but also engage them subconsciously in their lost memory lanes. Well supported by cinematography and soothing background score.
Though not visible, just like our emotions, Seattle rain does play a part in this film. We may eventually move on with a regular life, but many of us cannot escape those bitterly sweet memories.
For a 30 minutes film, it seemed to have either skipped some pages or the remaining part of the book. We must wait and see!

KHICHADI - Hindi movie (2010) - DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE IF YOU ARE A HEART PATIENT.
Thanks God I am Alive.. I could have died.. Died LAUGHING...
First time in my life I had to pause the movie frequently to control my laughter. I assure, even if someone gets a heart attack watching this movie he'd laugh on his way to hospital until doc gives him anesthesia! But then he will remember the hospital sequence from the movie and he'd surely die!
Outrageously funny movie ever made for Indian audience. Character that can kill you is called Praful. ..
"Mein hun praful.. praful hu mein.." ROFLMFAO!! It starts with an intro story in which God visits the maddest family in the world to give 'Akkal ke laddu' but returns back helplessly after being accused 'Pata nahi kisney tumhe Bhagwaan banaya!'
There on laughter just doesn't leave you. Its very few times in your life you just cant help yourself laughing and try too hard but it just gets doubled. This movie is one of those. Theater equivalent experience of brilliant performances!
Watch it :)
