Never a big fan of Edgar Allan Poe. At first I thought this was okay and I actually stuck it out. But so much of it was silly and didn't make sense. I think the title should have been N'EVERMORE USHERS. Although there were some great actors in it and the asking was superb. Mark Hamill was great and so was Bruce Greenwood and Mary McDonald and all the actors played their part very well. I know it was well done. I just didn't like it. I'm not a big fan of the macabre. But I was bored and needed something to watch so I stuck it out to see what was what. I thought it was long and drawn out. I'm sure Poe did not mean this to be political. As political agendas were thrown in every now and then which also spoils the works of Poe. What was supposed to be horror? I found downright humorous at times. It wasn't scary. Just grotesque. I know it was a well done production because the actors were great. It just wasn't my cup of tea even though I watched it to the end :D.
