I found this doc very fascinating and I'm surprised the other reviews find Benita narcissistic. I found her very sympathetic and I think what happened to her could happen to anyone. Yes, she could have gotten into the major failings in the medical community, there is a lot there, but this was her story. That was enough.
This is a fun hour and a half. It is vulgar in parts, I wouldn't watch it with young kids around, but it has lots of funny moments. It's over-the-top but that's ok. David Spade is perfectly cast, Lauren Lapkus is all-in, and there is a little bit of Schneider and Vanilla Ice! I recommend!
We had high hopes for this - the preview looked promising. I think it's supposed to be a comedy, but it's just not funny. There is no chemistry between the two leads. They might be goood actors, but this is not the vehicle of either of them. They just weren't good in it, but really, no one was. Calling the "frat boy" Brett Cavanagh was a cheap shot. Just overall dull, pointless, and a waste. Don't bother. Positive points - hmm, a little bit of New Orleans scenery.
