  • I tried to like it...

I get what they were going for, the creators obviously took a lot of time and effort into the production design and look of the film, and the world building, which was pretty decent.

But the script and the acting left a lot to be desired. A sort of cross between Mad Max and 12 Monkeys but both those films are many, many levels above this effort.

Some great ideas that just weren't properly thought out or realised to their full potential are there. The songs that are in the film are also pretty lacklustre and amateurish even for an 80s film.

I dunno, maybe I just need to watch this on as many "mind altering" substances as the screenwriters and director were.. lol.

  • Abysmally Bad..

What can I say about this film? It's bad.. and not in a "so bad, it's good" type of way. From the incoherent plot, the awful, amateurish acting and the directing (or lack thereof) make this easily one of the worst films I've had the (dis)pleasure to ever watch.

Some seem to liken it to Peter Jackson's earlier works, like Bad Taste or Brain Dead. But this trainwreck makes his early works seem like masterpieces in comparison.

Trust me, if you value your time on this planet, do not waste one second of it by watching this movie. Instead I actually would recommend watching a test pattern over this trash.

How this got funding, or the OK to make it, is beyond me.
