Summary for this film is exactly the same as Christmas in the city. So both films are the same?? Very confused. I am attempting to watch them both, once I have I'll submit another review or change this one. I like the idea of them trying to revamp or reopen the theatre, be nice to see the end product. But big fan of both main actors. Backgrounds and locations very beautiful. Hallmark Christmas movies usually run the same so very easygoing and easy to watch and pick up the story. A nice afternoon movie to get you into the festive season. Wish all hallmark movies and films were shown more in the uk.
This film was enjoyable for an afternoon thriller but having seen how the mother could handle herself as a police officer and knew how to handle a gun. I can't see how Professor Drake could react so quickly as to move around the trolley , that the daughter was on, move at lease 3 meters towards the mother , disarm her, knock her to the ground and get back to the bed in a matter of what, 10 seconds. He must be superman! Oh wait.... isn't he dying of cancer. You didn't see anything of him attacking her and as I pointed out she could handle herself and she definitely had the upper hand. I take it that during editing they either fell asleep or blinked and missed that EPIC FAIL there. I've always enjoyed watching Victors Pratt , I was disappointed with the end.
