First of all, wife wanted to watch this as we thought this might be another interesting movie about fashion....we are so dead wrong. Quite strongly believe that without Kate winslet most of us won't even know or watch thus movie. Besides, does any of you has a grasp of how the town works? How many households? What amenities? Facilities? You might think it ain't important but since it's a bloody soap, all these very crucial not? Rich town? Poor town? Can't tell can we? Seems everyone could afford cocktail dress and owning cars in the 50s but the town outlook just look poor.

Story is pathetic, boring, forceful at best. Casting simply collective of used to Australian actors with Kate's fame.

Not sure how everyone else praising this at all.

Haven't seen a superhero movie as bad as this! Pure rubbish....waif rubbish smell better than this piece of crap! Where is its direction heading? VFX is worse than Nickolodean series! The fighting scenes, horrendous! The characters are so strong and powerful but bricks and mortars could injure them?! The scripts and dialogue, come on, who wrote them?! Why's Helen Mirren in this junk, oh I feel so sad for her, was she threatened to make this movie?

Maybe Warner Bros should just stick to their dark movies! Even my 10 and 5 years old took their phones out to watch YouTube while I'm typing this rant 🤣🤣🤣.

If you're aftering a good laugh, avoid this at all cost!!!

Was expecting a life story about Taiwanese immigrants to USA in the late 50s but the slow pace and trying hard to imitate Wong Kar Wai story telling style just simply fail on this. Sigh.
