And we meet grandpa Huxtable. He was actually likable from day one. I wasn't too keen on how they pressured Denise into considering Hilman, but I know they wanted to keep with tradition. I think the only thing that annoyed me about this episode was that Cliff had made it clear that he wanted absolutely no visitors. Then he loses his mind when Theo sends grandpa away. Theo made a valid point. Had he invited grandpa in, Cliff may have gotten upset, yet he sent him away and Cliff still got upset. It was a good setup to introduce us to Hillman.
