Not the best vampire film, not the worst. Very atmospheric. I appreciated the occasional jolts of "ick" (okay, maybe not the first one, when the soldier is being tested with the synthetic blood - really ICK). Not sure this movie is worth worrying about whether it is a good one or not - just watch on a rainy day and move on.
