If you remember the plot of Super 8, where the kids were making a zombie movie; then you will realize that they were making academy award winning material compared to this. From the repetitive bird calls every time they are outdoors, to the lack of any talent, writing ability, or artistic integrity, this movie, like the vacuums the main character sells, sucks. Watch for a laugh.

I hesitated to watch this movie based on a 5.3 overall rating. I am glad my curiosity got the better of me. This was a solid film about the topic of demonic possession, supposedly based on a real incident. The acting was firsst rate and the story line and filiming of theatrical quality. Some fault the story for the use of the freckle-faced, red-headed boy. But, the drama is heightened in the presence of such innocence. You will not be disappointed.

I gave this a 2 star rating, out of pity. When you consider some of the classic science fiction movies made in the 1950's, this movie is pure garbage. There is no plot. There is no action. There is no acting talent. The effects do not even approach the level of some of the movies of that time. Get ready to be bored, bored, bored. Oh, and the creatures are laughable beyond belief. That Coppola put his name to this mess, makes you wonder how he went on to have a career.
