My 9 year old loved it, and my wife liked it too. I was a bit bored to be honest, but I mean, it's not a movie made for me, it's a movie for kids.
All I read or see in the internet (twitter, youtube...) are critics and ALWAYS coming from grown men. Are they really the target audience of this movie? Are they the best ones to be judging a movie for kids?
My kid really loved the movie and something happened that surprised me. At one point of the movie Stitch feels bad for whatever they did before and says something like "Stitch is bad", and my girl shook her head like saying "No Stitch, you're not bad!". I was very surprised, I didn't know she was so focused in the movie. By the end we all applauded and she did too, very enthusiastically.
In summary, take your kid to see it, they will love it, don't listen to what grown men have to say about it.

First of all, WOW, that was some experience.
The acting was incredible. Even though all episodes are amazing, the third episode was jaw-dropping, by the end I just wanted to stand up and applaud.
So, it starts like a classic "whodunnit?", the camera sometimes focus on different characters and you go like "hmmm... maybe this one is the killer..." and so on. But then it deviates from that and I think that makes it a unique experience. It took me by surprise, I wasn't expecting this.
My only complaint is that it felt a bit inconclusive (to me) at the end but then I understood that's what they were going for.
All the one-shot cinematography and the dialogs, and the acting, it's all top quality. Every actor in this series did a superb job. This series will get all the awards this year, I promise you.
Believe the hype, but... don't expect this to be like everything you've seen. It's a bit different.
Expect nothing and you'll like it.
