I needed something new to watch tonight and after catching up on possibly my new favorite Marvel show so far, I decided to visit Hulu and see what is new. This show popped up under the list of shows that I generally favor and watch. I knew nothing about it but decided to watch it anyways to see if it could be a new show I will follow, and it most certainly is. It plays like The Office and Parks and Recreation where the principal did say during the pilot that they hired a film crew to document the teachers and their school, obviously for the money but also the recognition in hopes it will help them get more money from the government in the future.
5 minutes into the show and I am already amused, smiling ear to ear. 10 minutes in and I'm laughing out loud. Loud enough for my roommate to come see what all the commotion is about. I find the main lead just perfect for her role and she easily carries the show. The more experienced stricter teacher is fantastical as well and super convincible in her role. Lastly I'm in love with how ridiculously funny but bad at her job the principal is. Anytime she showed up in a scene during the pilot she crushed it, outshining the cast but barely the main lead who carried herself.
I hope this show continues being this funny and gets the viewership it deserves. I wouldn't mind having a new show to look forward to, I'm guessing every Thursday, and hopefully for many more years.

Let me start off buy saying this season has been a blast so far. I can't believe how many hit episodes this show has through out this 14 season run. Of course there have always been weaker episodes and this one was one of them. I agree with the other posters in thinking that the episode would have been much better with the group shenanigans dealing with the park and less on the texting that happened throughout the episode. They could have done so much more. Still it was an entertaining watch as this show always is. Season 14 is up there as one of my favorite seasons so far with the last 4 episodes just being all around great. So while this one was the weakest of the 5 it was by no means bad, just not as funny when comparing the season as a whole. I can't wait to see what else the gang brings for the rest of the season.
