Wow, see this movie. An epic we so desperately needed. In the days of short attention spans, the sight of a 2+ hour run time will make you groan at first. This is a sequel like no other.
Action packed with great back stories and the perfect touch of comedy. Beautiful visuals & likeable cast that you want to root for all the way through.
Not as predictable as most movies seem. You can't leave the Hangman docked, cmon! Is what I was yelling out. I love the new pilots call signs, just as cool as the original.
Maverick shows you the true meaning of old school cool & earns the respect he deserves. Especially in the F-14, an older, but still totally badass plane.
Young or older, give yourself the liberty of enjoying this thrill ride, and have a laugh or two.

5 minutes in I thought this was going to be truly awful. But stick around, it will start to grow on you. All the characters are likeable, the jokes are alright- some make you question what age the target audience is- some silly redneck humor but also mild sexual jokes & partial nudity
I started my rating at 4 but as it progressed, I kept raising it. I planned on playing it as background noise with dashes of Christina's beauty, BUT the story & likeable cast coaxed me into paying attention. Give it a chance & have fun with it & remember pink is a COOL color.

Do Netflix writers understand what is a joke and what isn't? I wanted to give this series a chance, but as with other Netflix sitcoms, the laugh track is overbearing.
"No honey, you talk to her". hahaha. "No no what I'm saying is..." haha (yes it will even go off in the middle of dialogue). No normal person would find any of these funny.
WAIT during the setup (I know it's hard Netflix writers)- then the punchline- then queue the laugh track. Netflix says laugh now, laugh some more, laugh again. Nope, I'm gonna pass.
2 -because I didn't give the actors a chance to impress. The fake laughter drowns out anything they're trying to portray.
