Wasted potential. Parts of the movie were a complete mess and nonsense (like most of the lines/scenes by Mark Ruffalo), as if the writer(s) didn't know what to put in the scene, and just needed to use up the time. As a comedy, it was not even funny. The effects were decent. The Mickey character was alright, good acting, interesting character development, but everyone else just didn't fit the movie. Too much unnecessary cursing is a sign that the scriptwriter lacks the ability to express words in writing and defaults to an easy shortcut. Overall, this movie is underdeveloped, rushed, and lacks cohesion among the characters, resulting in messy, nonsensical scenes. M E H.
The three worst Star Trek shows ever made: Discovery, Picard, and Section 31. I had to search why the last few Star Treks were bad. Guess who is common in all three? Alex Kurtzman.
Discovery - I couldn't wait until it was over, I just wanted to see the ending. Gay cr@p, cursing (that's a minus 5 right away), and extremely unlikeable/uncharismatic characters. WE DON'T LIKE THESE in our Star Trek. I still don't even know anyone from the Discovery bridge crew except for Saru, Michael-let's-talk-feelings, and Boker. Boker - that's the only character I actually did like. Let's not even talk about how they ruined Klingons and almost ruined Spock by getting him involved in this attrocity.
Picard - completely ruined his character and dragged Seven of Nine into the pits. Shouldn't have allowed Kurtzman and his writers to ruin well established characters.
Section 31 - anything related to Discovery is just bad. Let Discovery DIE for good including all offshoots by Kurtzman. The only good news was that it was a movie (that no one asked for) and not an entire series. However...if you just close your eyes and ignore anything that says "Star Trek", then it's not super bad, perhaps a 5/10. The only time I liked Michelle Yeoh's character was when she was captain and not some emperor.
Any writer that was involved in all three Kurtzman-Treks, should be banned from anything Star Trek. STOP SAYING "Based on Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek". You basically took a grape juice commercial, and slapped a Star Trek sticker on it. Grudgingly, Star Trek Strange New Worlds is very nice, so don't ruin that by letting Kurtzman get more involved. Moving forward: Don't let Kurtzman and his writers make another Kurtzman-Trek. Let them move on to some crime/medical/romance-drama series, they should fit right in.
TLDR: Kurtzman is to Star Trek, is basically Disney is to Luke in Episode 7,8,9.

First, I enjoyed the first three seasons of Snowpiercer. HOWEVER, Season 4 episode 1 seems to have a completely different production quality. The cameraman reminds me of an amateur who has never heard of a tripod, image stabilization, a camera rig, and is probably a 4 year old holding a cellphone while walking and shooting as close as possible to faces and aiming at anything that talks or moves. Think Blair Witch Project. I could barely watch the show as nausea and dizziness set in fast. Had to stop watching after 15 minutes then take 30 minutes just to recover from that. Hey, if you don't want people to watch your show, you're on the right track: take years to release a new season (by then we've forgotten who we were watching) and pay a kid to run around with a camera. Whoever decided this was the way to shoot any video, should be fired. TWO STARS for the lousy production quality and camera crew and for giving me nausea.
