I'm basically posting this review to counteract the shameful self promotion review that already exists. Contrary to what that review states... This is not the best film ever made, neither is it comparable to John Wick.
It's a reasonable 4/10 with a story line that gets going a bit late, after some non related childhood flashback scenes. There is action, which is ok but nothing special and the choreography is really noticeable.
There are some good points and it's definitely not the worst movie you'll see. I love the premise of samurai Vs cannibals but it didn't deliver what I was going and won't rewatch it.
Ok but nothing you haven't already seen.

If there's a wrestling horror movie then I'm all over it but this one committed the cardinal sin... Cutting to black at the final scene. Maybe it's just my hatred of this sort of ending but I always feel a bit short changed when something awesome is about to happen then the movie cuts to black.
The story is a good premise but the execution could've been a better and there wasn't much gore or anything inventive that kept my attention. I was hovering over a 2 or 3 rating but it's not worth much more, mainly for to the lazy end.
All in all a forgettable movie with a terrible ending.

This is one of those movies that I looked at with a short of meh attitude but I was completely wrong. The script is brilliant and Sean Patrick Flannery is absolutely fantastic.
There are no special effects, creatures or wild action scenes, which on the surface wasn't for me but I was so engaged that it didn't matter and I was hooked throughout.
I have a short attention span and often reach for my phone during movies but this held my complete attention from beginning to end.
My review is finished but for some inexplicable reason imbd demands a huge character count so this bit is regrettably fillet... sorry!
It's a great movie though and I'd definitely recommend it.
